Prepare the crust by adding dates, nuts, cocoa powder, and sea salt to a food processor and blending into a meal, then add water and blend just until combined and sticky.
Transfer the dough to a parchment-lined 8×8-inch baking dish and spread with fingers to evenly distribute.
Chill.
Spread the almond butter evenly over the top of the crust in spoonfuls.
Chill.
Prepare the chocolate topping. In a microwave-safe bowl add chocolate chips, coconut milk, and almond extract. Microwave in short intervals until the chocolate is melted, stirring in between until the mixture comes together. Spread on top of the almond butter layer and chill until firm.
